Frequently Asked Questions
What comes in a cake decorating kit?
Most kits include piping bags, piping tips, couplers, a spatula and scrapers; bigger kits add a turntable, pans and nozzles for flowers.
Do I need a turntable in my kit?
It helps a lot; a turntable lets you smooth and comb a cake in one even spin.
Which cake decorating kit is best for beginners?
A 70 to 100 piece kit with a turntable, like Kootek 71 or RFAQK 90, covers what beginners need.
Final Verdict
The Kootek 71-piece kit is the best cake decorating kit. Choose RFAQK with an aluminum turntable for a sturdier setup.
